Longview AMBUCS (est. 1983)

AMBUCS inspires people to conquer challenges related to mobility and independence, through a nationwide network of volunteer chapters, working in partnership with physical, occupational and speech therapists; by providing Amtryke adaptive trykes, scholarships for therapists and many forms of community service.

Community Projects

• build wheelchair ramps each year for local people in need

• provide college scholarships for local Therapy students

• furnish motorized and standard wheelchairs, hospital beds, chair lifts, accessible vehicles, and provide a wide array of services to thousands of East Texans with disabilities

All of these services are provided at no charge.

Meeting Information

Longview AMBUCS meets every Thursday from 12:00pm-1:00pm at Winterfield UMC.
